Beautiful spacious apartment (970 ft²) (90 m2) located in stunning park surroundings with a view of the Mediterranean from the south facing terrace. From the north facing terrace (accessible from both bedrooms) the views are of the mountain ‘Tete de Chien’. The apartment has a separate garage for those of you who wish to bring a car. The apartment is light and inviting and comprises of two double bedrooms and bunk bed in number 2 bedroom as well, one living room with an open space kitchen, one en-suite bathroom with shower, one entrance hall and one separate guest toilet. The apartment is in immaculate modern condition and has been newly renovated to a very high standard. The apartment complex is very well managed, safe with camera surveillance and kept in great condition. It has a lovely pool area for residents only. Close by there are two tennis courts driven by municipality and Cap d Ail Tennis Club nearby provides 6 courts. There are two beautiful beaches nearby which are both in walking distance. One is called ‘Plage Mala’ and the other ‘Marquet’. (next to Tennis Club Cap d Ail)

Throughout the year there are several different attractions nearby. Some of the biggest are: the Monaco Formula 1, Monaco Yacht Show, ATP Tennis Monte Carlo, concerts in Monaco and Nice including the Jazz Festival, X-mas fair in Monaco, Matisse & Chagall museums in Nice.

Lots of great restaurants in town and surrounding cities such as Nice, Cannes, Monaco and San Remo.

Within 2 hours a number of activities and attractions can be found. In Georges du Verdon the European ‘Grand Canyon’ is worth a visit. Ski destinations such as Isola 2000 and Auron and even Limone-Piemonte in Italy. Other cities along the Italian riveira are Potofino and Genova and even closer to Cap d’Ail you can find San Remo and Ventigmiglia.

How to get there: Flights to Nice airport. From Nice you can either rent a car, take a taxi, private taxi bus door-to-door (approx €55 return) or an airport bus a 15 min walk from the residence (approx €18 return). For those who do not bring a car there are buses three times an hour that will take you to Nice or Monaco. The train nearby will take you to Italy or Cannes and are very scenic routes.

...für verschiedenste Ausflüge, egal ob mit Bus/Auto/Bahn. Wir hatten 12 wundervolle, erlebnisreiche und erholsame Tage. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen. Ruhige Anlage, super ausgestattete Küche, 2 Bäder, Waschmaschine, Trockner etc. In 10 Minuten ist man am Strand, in 5 am Bahnhof oder dem nächsten Bäcker/Supermarkt. Wir waren in Nizza, Menton, Grasse, Monaco, Antibes, Eze Village. Alles wunderbare Ausflugsziele. Und nachmittags schwimmen am Mala Plage. Den schönen Pool der Anlage haben wir gar nicht ausprobiert, keine Zeit dafür. Das Meer ist auch zu toll, glasklares Wasser (Kieselstrand). Oder man geht an den größeren Strand von Cap d'Ail, ist zwar weiter zu laufen (30 Min.), es gibt aber einen wunderbaren Weg direkt am Meer entlang. Hinter dem Strand (Sand/Kiesel) beginnt schon Monaco, bin quasi vom Badetuch mal kurz zum Stadion des AS Monaco gelaufen. War ein wirklich schöner Urlaub!.

Wir waren Anfang Oktober für 1 Woche in Cap d'Ail. Das Appartment ist sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Der Blick aufs Mittelmeer und den Pool war beim Frühstück und Abendessen auf dem Balkon sehr schön. Die Appartmentanlage war ruhig. Wir hatten bei der Ankunft ein kleines Problem mit dem Schlüssel. Nicolai hat alles von Dänemark aus schnell und unkompliziert geregelt. Auch die Kaution von 500 € wurde innerhalb kurzer Zeit anstandslos zurück überwiesen. Die Buslinie 100, mit der man nach Monaco innerhalb von 10 Minuten (1,50 € pro Person) problemlos fahren kann ist max. 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Auch Menton und Nizza kann man so besuchen. Supermarkt und Bäcker sind ebenfalls nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Wir waren sehr froh, dass Auto in der Apparmentanlage abstellen zu können, denn öffentliche Parkplätze waren sogar im Oktober in Cap d'Ail Mangelware. Cap d'Ail und Monaco sind sehr bergig bzw. das Gelände/Straßen sind sehr steil. Dies sollten "Fußkranke" bedenken. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten ein super Wetter!

Siamo stati molto bene e cap d’ail è sempre affascinante ! Nicolai è stato molto gentile e organizzato , le comunicazioni sono state facili e veloci !

Die Anlage "Le Bois Jolie" ist recht groß (ca. 40 Wohnungen) und etwas altmodisch, aber sehr gepflegt und ruhig. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr modern und hochwertig ausgestattet, vor allem die Küche (Nespresso-Maschine, Geschirrspüler, Backofen, Induktionsherd). Der Balkon ist recht klein, für bis zu 4 Personen aber ausreichend. Auf dem zweiten Balkon kann man gut die Badesachen trocknen. Deutsche Fernsehsender gibt es nicht, aber dank WLAN ist das kein Problem. Am Pool sind fast immer Liegen frei; die meisten Bewohner nutzen ihn offenbar gar nicht. Leider gibt es keine Sonnenschirme. Die Mittagspause wird strikt eingehalten; wir wurden auch einmal aufgefordert, den Pool bis 15:00 Uhr zu verlassen, obwohl wird nur leise unsere Bahnen geschwommen haben. Ins kleine Zentrum von Cap-d'Ail sind es nur wenige Schritte, dort bekommt man alles, was man braucht (insb. im kleinen, gut sortierten Supermarkt "U" mit Fleischtheke). Wer will, kann sich auch Pizza und Sushi holen. Mit der Buslinie 100 ist man schnell und günstig in Monaco und den anderen Küstenorten zwischen Nizza und Menton. Für weitere Strecken ist der kleine Bahnhof nicht weit. Mit dem Auto ist man in wenigen Minuten im Hinterland, z.B. in Eze Village, einem malerischen Bergdorf. Der Strand "Mala" ist sehr schön, aber klein. Die Liegen dort sind unglaublich teuer. Insgesamt eine sehr zu empfehlende Wohnung wenn man die Côte d'Azur erkunden möchte. Für einen reinen Badeurlaub nicht zu empfehlen. Der dänische Vermieter Nicolai kümmert sich perfekt um alles, ist stets erreichbar und spricht auch gut deutsch.

We have stayed in this amazing apartment with my husband, a mother-in-law, and a little baby for 8 days in March-April 2015. We had so relaxing time there. Mette and Nicolai, the owners, have made their place super friendly for any type of a traveller. It's so well-equipped that we felt like at home from the very first minute we stepped in. We have had a 6-month old baby with us, but we could find simply everything we could possibly need, including a high chair and a baby cot. The apartment is so spacious that could easily accommodate 3 adults and a baby. A view is breathtaking and a location is impressively convenient for getting around (a very close to a bus station with busses to Nice and Monaco and a train station too). We definitely going to be back in the foreseeable future! Our special appreciation to Nicolai for his excellent communication during a booking process and throughout our stay!

The apartment has a prime location in view Med and a beautiful Garden / Park and pool, very quiet and peaceful. It is close to the center of Cap d’Ail and is only a 3 minute walk away to the shops. You will find two supermarkets, two bakeries, a beauty salon, several restaurants, dry cleaners, pharmacy, florist, Tabacs, Tourist Information, Gas station, optician, among other shops.

Monaco is minutes away where you will find plenty of shopping, international hotels and restaurants, casinos, outdoor cinema in the summer, the castle and many other tourist attractions. Monaco / Monte Carlo provides you with entertainment and fairs all year round. For families you have water parks within 30 minutes drive (close to Nice) the pool is always very convenient, the beach is within walking distance and you have various flowers all year round. If you want to be challenging on your bike, take a trip up to La Turbie 🙂 If you are crazy about pasta, Italy is very close.
